Our squad landed in Kathmandu, Nepal yesterday afternoon after a relatively short (12 hour) travel day.

As soon as I stepped off the plane and walked down the stairs I saw the lush green mountains and felt the cool breeze and immediately I was in love 🙂

What a different sight to behold than in India!  And I am so excited about it.  Not that I didn't love my time in India because I did, but the cool air, and beautiful surroundings bring such a refreshment this month for me!  I love nature and being outside, so this is definitely my cup of tea.

Even today we hiked down between the terraced rice fields (getting mud all over our feet and legs) to this waterfall and walked in the creek!  It was such a great day!

This morning we met with the main guy that is in charge of our ministry. After hearing some statistics, cultural things and his heart for this ministry I just cried. I cried for the deception and darkness that lies in the midst of this beautiful landscape.   I cried for the women and children that are sold by their own families in to the sex trade.  And I cried because of the awesome things God is doing here through this ministry and the fact that I have an opportunity to be a part of it.

This month my team will again be sharing the gospel in different villages. But this month we will be hiking in the mountains to get to each of the villages (which I have to say I am super excited about that part… Lord, I'll follow you anywhere but the Himalayan mountains is one of the coolest places I can think of!)  I am also excited for another month with this kind of ministry so the Lord can continue to grow me in it.  There were many things he showed me about it last month that I am excited to be able to put into practice this month.  Please be praying for open doors and hearts as we go to each village and also that I would be sensitive to the Lords leading and that I would step out boldly with His word of truth!

I'm guessing that I will have limited internet access again this month due to the remote villages that we will be in but I will update you all as much as I can.

This is the view I woke up to this am.  Try not to feel sorry for me 😉
