Well Hey.
I hate filling out About Me sections, I don't feel like I am that interesting but I will give a basic run down of myself.
First of all, I am not a writer; I am awful at spelling and grammar so bear with me in that regard.
I am Shelby Thayer, I just turned 20 and will turn 21 on my 4th month in the Race.
So I am going to be a baby of the trip!
Luckily I am the baby of my family and LOVE it.
I have one older sister she is 22 and we have always been super close.
My parents are amazing, loving, supportive and I am beyond blessed to call them mine.
I am currently a sophomore at Berry College.
I will be taking a year off before my Junior year to follow my God given passions on the World Race.
I have no idea what major to declare.
I am a sucker for adventure and traveling.
I love people and loving on people.
Give me any good tree I will try to climb it.
I love heights and seeing things from a new perspective.
The skies fascinate me, I will stop in my tracks and gaze at the stars to marvel at our Creator.
I love to laugh, am an awful story teller.
I value friendship and have been blessed with some amazing Godly friends who challenge me everyday.
I love children and their outlook on life.
I see things better through my camera lens.
There is almost always music playing in the background and I enjoy all types of music.
Currently listening to my Mat Kearney Spotify station.
I want to learn how to play the guitar.
I love worship.
I owe everything I am to my Heavenly Father and Savior.
I am beyond excited for this adventure and cannot wait to meet the people I get to spend the next year with!
