Month 7: Zimbabwe. This month we partnered with Our Neighbors ministry, which has 5 different outreach opportunities. With Hearts of Love we served meals at a soup kitchen each week and also led bible studies. We also visited a local village and sang songs, danced, and shared a word of encouragement. At Isaiah’s Babies Home we held babies and ran around the playground with the children. At Lighthouse Christian School we played soccer each week and also created and organized a new library for the school. At Children of Grace we helped the staff with gardening projects. We also joined a group of women who meet weekly to make bracelets and necklaces to support their families.
