Its been a little over 3 months since the fundraising journey has begun. $16,243. Thats a big number. I had no idea where to start other than sending out letters. So step by step I began the process and day by day I am blown away by the love, support and affirmation of people around me. Now its the middle of August and I find myself sitting amazed staring at my computer screen, shocked by the number 5000. Five thousand dollars. Im amazed and every time I check my account it seems as if another donation has rolled in. I am encouraged by the people who want to buy a prayer bracelet not only for themselves but for a family member or a friend. I am encouraged that two days after posting pictures of my shirts I already have over 25 people lined up with pre-orders. I haven’t even received the shirts yet! I receive mail every so often with scripture and prayer encouragement. I am so thankful for everyone who has lifted me up in prayer and donated to my World Race account.
While I am getting closer, I still have a long way to go. If you would like to support me, there are several ways you can do this.
1) Buy a Shirt! The blog post below this has more information on the shirts. The tank top is $18 and the pocket tee is $25.
2) Buy some bracelets! Each bracelet is $3 or a full set of 11 is $25. The bracelets will serve as prayer bracelets not only for my trip but for each country that the bracelets represent.
3) Donate online by clicking the “Support Me” tab underneath my picture on the blog.
4) Contact me to donate directly (check or cash).
I am hoping and praying to be fully funded by the end of December before I leave so that when I am on my trip I can direct 100% of my focus to being present in each country and on my team. As always please comment or message me with any questions you have.
