The Lord has been bringing on a journey since I have come to Georgia, and a huge part of that has been through my artwork. I wanted to share with you some of the pieces I have completed since moving, and the stories behind them. For me, they are more than just a cool picture, but a way that the Lord has shown me his heart or taught me a lesson in the past. In a way, these pictures are a piece of my heart.

- Purchase a piece of art! I have lost monthly support due to tough economic times, so I’m providing you with a creative way to support a missionary. Each of the pieces has a minimum cost to cover time and supplies, but feel free to give as the Lord leads you. If you are interested in any of the pieces below, leave a comment with your e-mail and the piece(s) you are wanting and I will get in contact with you to arrange payment and shipping.
- Spread the word! Maybe you can’t buy a painting… But perhaps your Aunt Hilda would love to buy one! “The refining process”

This drawing displays the process of refinement in a Christian’s life. Tribulation, the Holy Spirit, worship, harvest…. All resulting in the finished product, a beautiful jewel. The Lord sees us as that finished jewel, even when we are far from perfect. Many different people look at this piece and see different aspects of the process of refinement. What do you see?
“Unlocking your dream”

My roommate asked me to paint a picture of dreaming, and following your dreams, for a film project that she was working on. For me, to paint is to follow my dream. I painted the chest as the dream, all locked up. It is not forgotten, it cannot be forgotten, because it sits in the spotlight of your mind; it is always there, but maybe you are too afraid to touch it. We need to be bold and open our dreams… we need to take action and bring our dreams out into the light!
“The Father’s heartbeat”

I painted this canvas during a time of worship with the Lord. My heart was longing after the heart of the Father, asking that my heart beat in rhythm with his heart. What did he tell me? “Listen to my heartbeat.” We cannot expect to follow the Father’s heart if we don’t stop to listen.
