Passion to Love…

…takes us to the ends of the earth so that all can taste and see that God is good!

We are traveling to China, Thailand, and Cambodia Nov 1st through Dec 16, 2010
We would love your prayers and support as we go to set the captives free!

Emily Remillard and I are traveling to Asia this winter. We both have a heart to go and reach the lost in this area of the world, particularly women and children trapped in prostitution.  We are going to build relationships and serve with established ministries that are reaching out with love to those in darkness. We feel called to serve long term and want to go and explore options for longer term partnership.

In China, we will be visiting an organization called the Starfish Project.  They reach out to the prostitutes in Beijing offering them love, work opportunities, and a safe place to live.  Next we will travel to Thailand and Cambodia to visit a few other organizations to see what opportunities we may have to serve along side them in the future.

Emily served in China for seven months in 2007 and 2008 and has had China on her heart ever since. I also traveled and ministered in China, Thailand and Cambodia in 2007, and I knew that I would be back. God has really put this area of the world on my heart, and I’m excited to be going back.

Emily and I met last year at Bethel and she was a leader of the human trafficking home group that I attended weekly. We connected over a shared dream to reach out to the hurting with God’s love.  Our upcoming trip is the next step toward that dream becoming reality.

Please keep us in your prayers as we go into dark places to bring the light. The prayers and support of the body of Christ mean so much to me.  Those who go out as missionaries could not do it without a strong connection with believers.
Thanks for your love and support!!!
