While in Bangalore I heard about this couple that runs an outreach to children that live in the slum. Everyday the children come and have a safe place to learn and get a free meal. I stopped in to see them one day and found out that the children are fasting and praying for God to provide the money for them to be able to go to school. Education is a huge factor in ending the cycle of poverty, with out it many of these children end up enslaved or at risk to be trafficked and forced into prostitution.
It costs 100 dollars a year for a child to go to school here, if you can help please do so.
