The time we have spent in Africa has been amazing. God is so good, and I am so thankful for this adventure he is taking me on. We have been so blessed with safe travel, nice lodging and good food. We have seen many hungry people that live in refugee camps, and we have brought them both food and the bread of life, the love and good news of Jesus Christ. We have prayed for the sick, and held starving children. My heart has been broken many times over and I know that our only hope is in Jesus, that the love of Jesus is all I can truly put my hope in, nothing else can sustain a human soul.

We spent a lot of time with the 58 orphans Iris has playing, singing songs, and just holding them, and loving them. We were able to give them some new clothes and buy some chickens and a goat, we also took up an offering but I wish we could have given them more.

I think we all know that Africa is in need, but to come here and see it makes me want to do all I can to help them. I want to encourage the body of Christ to come to Africa or to look at Africa and ask God what you can do.

I praise God for all the good things he has done and is doing. I have recieved a greater measure of God this month and I am forever changed. I am amazed at how much he loves me and how much he is changing me through this experience. I am so thankful to God and give him all the praise and glory for he has set me free from so much and I am walking in freedom. I am not frustrated anymore, I am not hurt, and I am loved. Our
God is an all consuming fire, anything not of God is pruned off and burned up. The Joy of the Lord is my strength, of whom shall I be afraid? Amen!!! Can I get an Amen?
