We have splitting into teams and going out sharing the good news 6 days a week and having services at our host church 4 days a week. Everyday people are hearing about the love of Christ and accepting him into their lives.

On Saturday March 24, we went to Tumpa a neighboring town and invited people to come to an outreach we were having in their town square that evening.

As we were walking toward Tumpa I noticed two ladies in a field wearing bright red sweaters around their waist, I stopped to see what they were harvesting and one of the ladies looked up, I waved at her and she waved back and motioned for us to come down into the field, she then held up some red peppers. The small group of people I was with started to pray and ask God what we should do. Amanda spoke up and said well I think we should go down there. It was a bit of a steep climb down from the road and we were headed to Tumpa only about half way there and lots of people are out in their fields working, so we hesitated, but we went down and started to talk to a lady named Maria.

We asked her if she knew Jesus and she said that she knew a little about him but didn’t know him personally as her savior.
We asked her if she wanted to ask him into her heart she said she didn’t want to switch religions. I asked her if there was any thing we could do to love her, she said well you could pray for me. We asked what she wanted us to pray for and she didn’t know, then out of the blue her eyes start burning from the hot peppers she had been picking, we gave her some water and a napkin to wipe her eyes with, then after she thanked us and the next thing I know Mallorie is talking to her in Spanish then turns and asks the translator to lead her in the sinners prayer and she gets saved.

Later that evening she showed up at our outreach, we had a good size gathering, we shared the gospel and many others were saved. We are working to try and start small house groups within Tumpa, as well as doing another outreach next week.

We have started to share the love of Jesus with them and they want to know more, lots of the people here have never heard about him, and are very hungry to learn more. Many people are asking for bibles, so we have started to give them away and we are trying to find more to buy.
Thank you for all your prayers and comments I can always use the encouragement, we are reaping a great harvest here in Peru, all praise and glory be to God.
