Three amigos

The man sitting in the middle of the picture is the drunk man I wrote about in my last blog, he is still comming out to the meetings and cell groups and these are two of his friends that have started comming as well.  Amanda and I saw them at a house we were walking by and recognized our buddy, so we started to talk to him and invited all of them to come to the church  sevice that was starting in a half an hour.

The man on the left was passed out drunk in a chair and I wanted to bring him with us but I didn´t want to go into the yard and get him cause there were three men sitting around drunk so I didn´t think it was safe.  The next thing I know he is up out of his chair stumbling toward me about to fall into the ditch.  I grab him by the hand and pull him across the ditch and he started to mumble at me so I put my hand on his head and started to pray for him.  He put his hands out right away to recieve from God–Unbealievable!!! So we walked him back to the church with us and five minutes later the man sitting on the right walked into the church, grabed a chair, kneeled down and started praying.  The pastor´s wife, Selena walked in just as he finished praying and led him in a prayer  in Spanish.  When they finished praying he raised his arms  and yelled freedom….. freedom!!! He then ripped off his necklace that had Mayan charms on it and continued to praise God with a big smile.

The little boy whose throat got healed.  We gave him some animal crackers last night and he gobbled them up.
