Good afternoon everyone!
CrossroadsHave you ever reached a crossroad where you find yourself in need of help to accomplish a dream you have had for a long time and have not yet seen it come to pass?
There is hope! We are all going to reach crossroads in our lives no matter who we are. My first one was when I faced cancer and today it is while I move along with fundraising for the World Race mission trip.
Need for Love and Discipline
I realize that I need love and discipline and I thank God that this was what I was made for. This mountain is going to move into the sea and I am going to focus on God in my Lord Jesus Christ and surround myself with like minded people who will believe with me that revival and restoration is here. Faith with works is alive! All through kingdom works and asking God and others that all my needs will be met abundantly above anything I can ask or think for the fundraising.
To Build or to Destroy
Earlier I was talking to my Dad about how someone in Sudbury has an idea to remove the ward system that has been in place in Sudbury. This is a system that has facilitated the communication between the citizen and the leadership of the City through representatives in a certain ward.
The question came to the subject of making rules without the consultation of all the parties involved and the short term and long term effects of our decisions. My dad mentioned to me his example of the laws concerning bear hunts in the north from leaders who lived down south in urban areas to protect the bears. Everyone has a different idea and everyone chooses a side in a matter and here is the point.
Is someone neutral representing the opinions of each side to the other without prejudice. If we remove the ward system are we removing jobs and if so who will stand in the gap where before someone was getting paid to do so and now there might not.
I do not know what the outcome of this issue is and the only thing I know is we need a loving person with discipline and leadership to stand in the gap and represent a multitude to other leaders of different rank to promote harmony between everyone.
Are We Connected?This is how I feel about two groups I call the first World and the third world. we all live on the same planet and we all are affected by what we do day by day. Can we honestly say that we know someone or are in partnership with someone with the right set of values who knows what is going on in the hearts of our neighbors in other countries.
GoalI am aiming to do just that first to reconcile man to God through Jesus Christ and to be an ambassador for the kingdom.
Focus
My focus is to be that representative for God and you to reach out and love those He leads me too. In the next 5 months my focus is going to be on love, discipline and leadership with my blog.
I look forward to sharing with you the fruit and stories that will unfold as I learn and apply discipline in my life one step at a time.
