Wherever you are at I pray that we know we are loved every moment of the day even in our struggles of trying to pursue our dreams.
My Story
After choosing life when I was faced with a life threatening cancer in 2007 I dreamed and held on to a belief that all I wanted to do was make this world a better place for everyone.
I was afraid of losing my life to death. God provided desperately needed intimacy with a loved one who listened and I was able to release all the resentment and bitterness I had held on to growing up in the form of tears. Supernaturally the next day I had no fears of death and complete trust and faith that God had a plan for me and that that was fate.
I carried on with the treatments in interdependence with family and specialists and doctors and I can now say that I have been free of cancer for 5 years.
The Need for Research
I had the experience to know I needed to do my research from my experience in a college program of Chemical Engineering Technology at College Boreal and now the research I was focused on was how to make this world a better place.
Have you ever wanted to see change in the world, your family and yourself?
I did and when I chose life on December 19th I realized that all I could do was move forward and look for the way to see the best change in this world. I was a 20 year old confused about what life was about without clear intentions to find to find answers.
My Mission
So I made it my mission to find the answer that would make this world the best place for all people on this earth. I started my research and within 2 1/2 years of research I found much knowledge and much sorrow. Nothing seemed to satisfy my thirst. Did I understand all this information I was reviewing? No. I took what I thought could help me to build a network and a life. How to do this, how to do that etc… I felt alone with no support to do it all by myself.
Our Need for Loving Relationships
On this season of my journey I found out that if I wanted to see change in this world that it would have to start with me and my heart first. I learned that the increase in the change in my life would be correlated with the relationships that I developed. I was looking for the best personal relationship to learn how to love but I could see any that were close to me. All I could find were documentaries and literature but no relationships.
One day as I was reading and studying how to make my dreams come true with some of the best material the world has to offer I came to ask myself what I was really passionate about and what I valued the most and who could be my best model of excellence to learn from.
Search for the Best
After 2 ½ years of research and learning about myself and how to be the change I wanted to see in the world I realized that through all my experience there was only One person who gave His life for the sake of love so we could know Love and the power of Love.
My search led me to get to know Jesus Christ with the best tool there is to do so materialistically speaking, the Holy Bible. As I listened online and read myself and listened to messages of preachers I came to a conclusion that the Love Jesus Christ showed during His life on earth and His death would never be beaten.
He sealed His Love for God the Father and us with His blood to reconcile those who believe to Himself and God justified Him by raising Him from the dead on the third day.
He has now made it possible to have a relationship with Him through the Holy Spirit by believing in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Repentance, Life and Ressurection.
John 3:16
”For God so greatly loved and prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten [unique] Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.”
God has brought us to the cross and has now given us the opportunity to have the most powerful relationship with Him and the greatest mission we could ever ask for. We can have a relationship with Him and get to know the amazing plan He has for us all.
In conclusion I looked everywhere for the purpose of life. The only place that has given me one with a purpose and a promise of love was found at the cross. I searched and I found it and so can you. Through the difficulties we face in this world God has proven to me His faithfulness in light of all my failures past, present and future and will do so for you and all those who believe in Him.
Here is question for us all; do I desire to understand more about love?
