Hello There,
All of you fantastic people who read my blog.

Ive talked to a few people and tried to express the emotional month in Thailand. Over the phone (skype) its hard to vocalize the depth of the impact Thailand has been to me. It would be best to sit down over a cup of joe, maybe at a local coffee shop (preferably not Starbucks), out on the patio where I can look you in the eyes as you look me in the eyes and we can discuss solutions.
But until then.
Im not writing a blog about my experiences this past month. I wish I could, but at the end i wouldn’t feel satisfied because it’s not going to give you the feel of what we felt.
I could put pictures up but you’ve already seen pictures similar to them, and probably watched a video or two about prostitution. If your at all like I was back in the states than it’ll take much more than a little info for you to get the BIG picture of how badly the Thai culture is hurting.
Last winter I volunteered with “The Sold Project” in the states, going from school to school telling people about the sex-trade in Thailand. We gave a short video, played a couple songs, gave a 20-30 min speech including the shocking statistics of women from Thailand/ Burma in prostitution… but it took a trip over to begin to understand what all the talk was about.

You should think about the same.

Grandma & Grandpa, Im still alive 🙂
