The World Race!

Sitting where your at, on that chair, stool, couch, bed, or plot of grass… Can you imagine what Guatemala’s like?

What’s the 1st image to pop in your head when you think of the country?

Lush country side? Trees, vibrant little homes, 80’s model mo-peds .. fast food??

Flying into Guatemala City the lucky few passengers seated on the left side of the plane witnessed a stunning array of colors beaming off the top of the clouds as the sun rose over the horizon. The light reds and pinks spread across the sky as if God was welcoming us to this grand adventure.

All the stressful thoughts from packing and preparing where totally overrated. God provides. Always. Not just financially but emotionally and spiritually 🙂

This country is beautiful. Large tree covered mountains. The people are friendly. In Antigua where we are staying til Weds. The roads are all cobble stoned. Motorcyclists slip between the narrow roads and the smog producing 82 Toyota Carollas.

Poor. Simple. Happy people

Wednesday my team is off to El Salvidor to work at an orphanage and Teen Challenge rehab center

The stories will continue 🙂

Much Love,
Shaun
