While on vacation in Michigan I got to get together with Neil and Carly, 2 Racers I’ll be leaving with September 28th!  They both live in the Grand Rapids area.  We met up in Saugatuck and spent some time at the beach, swimming, walking around and having a few side adventures, and getting lots of mosquito bites (at least I did).  I had so much fun getting to know these great people!  And I was glad to know they have some of the same questions and fears as I do on everything from camping gear, to the hardest things we face, to what will happen at training camp, and what do you do with life when the Race is over.  I loved hearing their stories and what God is doing in their lives!
