Happy Father’s Day Dad!

(I have been waiting to post this until I can get a picture loaded on here but I will just have to add the picture later.)

Dad, Thank you for all of your hard work.  For caring so much about me that you always ask how my car is doing and check it when I come home, ask if I am alright, warn me to be careful, etc.  I know you worry a lot about where I will be traveling this next year and for my safety but I know that just shows how much you love me!  Experience, in war and as a teacher in a prison, has taught you to be cautious in your decisions and aware of your surroundings.  I know that your experiences, which you have taught me through, and my passion to love and meet people’s needs in the world will combine to make a great experience!  Especially when it is bathed in prayer!

You care so deeply for your children (even as adults), and will go out of the way to help them…even at your own expense.  You sacrifice so much for those you love.  You especially put so much effort into caring for your own dad, my Opa!  Your love and hard work for him has taught me a great deal about servanthood and life in general.

I pray often that God draws you closer into a deep love for him and you receive many blessings!

I LOVE YOU DAD!

(By the way…yes I did add coolant and engine oil to my car, and I will be going to get a new tire soon.)
