Update

 

 

Thank you to all who are out there praying for me!  Your prayers are like food for my soul…we will need your prayers as we prepare and while on the trip.  If you would like to be a dedicated part of my prayer team, praying every week, then please contact me here.  Right now you can pray for my team and I as we begin to build friendships and that we will meld together with Christ-like love.  This will be a stronger example for the people we meet than most anything else we do.  Please also pray for my continued faith that I will raise the needed financial support.

 

I currently have $4,500 in my account with $520 in pledges…this brings me to a total of $5,020 out of the $13,800 + meds, visas, insurance, flight to training, etc. that I need by the time I leave.  If you would like to support me please pray about it first and then click here.  Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me thus far!  You are really ministering to me during this time.  Please contact me and let me know how I can pray for or minister to you.

 

Our team training for the World Race is August 2-10 in Gainesville, Georgia!  I am so excited to meet my teammates and to further prepare physically, spirtually, and mentally for the race!  I have bought my plane ticket and I’m ready for training (flying Airtran out of Dayton, OH).

 

I have gotten all of my vaccinations already.  I almost passed out after a couple but she gave me an apple juice box and a cold compress–so I was ok!

 

I have been working hard to raise support by sending letters and updates, speaking at church and in Sunday School classes, and so forth.  If you would like to help in any way with a fundraiser, connecting me to a church or organization to speak to, or anything else, please let me know.
