In speaking with my sister the other day, I had to hold back tears. Only this time, it wasn’t because I only missed my family. This time, it was out of thankfulness for the amazing community God has blessed me with at home.
My sister had told me of their plans to help somebody in the church through a really difficult time, and with everything she told me, I grew more joyful. See, I have known this community since before it even became The Seed. I have seen the way they love one another through the good and bad. Numerous times a week, I thank God for these people in my life.
The most amazing part is seeing it grow. This community has not focused solely inward but has expanded outside its group. I love that some of my close friends in The Seed are not necessarily ones I knew 5 years ago. This may not be super long and drawn out, but I just want to say thank you to those in my community at home. I love you all and miss you more than you know. I really didn’t know what I had until it was gone. Thank you for prayers and for loving me as Christ loves the Church. I can’t wait to see you in 29 days and continue growing with you!!!
