Thanks so much for visiting my site! My name is Sharion Scott, I'm 24 years old, and I'd love to share with you about an awesome mission opportunity that God has placed before me. I hope that you will read this intro, explore the site, and consider supporting me prayerfully and financially.
So what will I be doing?
I will serve as a missionary through an organization, Adventures in Missions, in their World Race program. The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries around the world. On the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, feed the hungry, pray for the sick, minister to women and children who are victims of human trafficking, and bring God’s love to many tribes and nations.
Where will I be doing all of this?
China, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda—I’m so excited to see how God shows up in such a diverse group of countries!
Why do I want to do this?
As I leave teaching, I have the option to find a job, apply to law school, or travel for fun, but my heart knows that God doesn’t just want me going off to fulfill my selfish desires—He wants me to lay down my life and fulfill His plan. I want to be His hands and feet that are used to bring hope and love to the world and change people’s lives with His awesome power. I want to see and do life in a way that hurts my heart but challenges me to appreciate God’s gifts. I know that God wants to do something great in and through me and this mission trip is where He wants to start.
How can YOU help me?
I know that this entire mission will only be accomplished by God working through people like you to support me! I am asking you to consider partnering with me both prayerfully and financially. I must raise $15,500 to go on the World Race, and this amount will cover all my expenses. This financial support can be given as a monthly donation or as a one-time gift. If 11 more people pledge $100/month for 6 months, I would have 100 percent of the funds necessary for my trip. But please know that ANY AMOUNT HELPS.
