Hi! I’m Shara. I graduated from Brazoswood High School in 2016. I love laughing, my friends, going on adventures, traveling, marching band, sunsets, finding cute coffee shops, and pursuing The Lord. I’m spending the 9 months following high school (October 2016- June 2017) in Cambodia, Thailand, Guatemala, and Malawi serving The Lord in various ways. God has been incredibly evident that this is His plan for me, and that is both extremely exciting and terrifying. However, I am confident in His provision and guidance every step of the way. World Race: Gap Year, has not left my mind for the past several months. Because of this, I spend my free time reading blogs (do it, they are inspiring), watching videos, and praying about this next step. Ever since 2012, my first mission trip to Cambodia, my heart has been in missions. I was captivated by what I saw God doing in those people, and I so badly wanted to be a part of overseas missions work. When this opportunity came about, it was obvious to me that it was God’s incredible timing. This is a very different journey than what is “expected” for recent high school graduates, but I have refused to allow that comparison to hold me back from following the life God has called me to. My family and friends inspire me daily and I could not be any more thankful for their encouragement through everything— I have been incredibly blessed by all of them in my life and would not be who I am today without their constant love and support. I can’t wait to see God move in powerful ways, build incredible relationships, and have my eyes and heart opened to new things.
I am beyond excited for this next chapter of my life and I want you to be a part of it! I would love to tell you more about what we will be doing. Call me, text me, message me, come find me–let’s talk. 🙂
There is also a ‘contact‘ link on the left side of this page if you would like to contact me that way. Thank you so much for partnering with me and following my journey.
In Him,
Shara Mullenix
