It meant so much to me because no one has ever paid that much attention to see what food we liked to eat and then wake up and make it for us at 6 am. I just felt very loved by that because gifts are one of my love languages.”

Random fact about them: “I love downhill skiing and raced competitively for six years.”
Favorite Memory on the Worldrace: ” In mozambique my team and I got to tag along with our ministry host to go to the Beach for the weekend. THere we got to have undivivded team time and really get to know one another– laugh together, cook together, play in the waves, drink banana milkshakes, and have fun girl time.”

Favorite Memory on the worldrace: ” Camping in Swaziland. I never thought I would survive camping in Africa, but however I did. Despite all odds I survived”.

Random fact about them: “My three favorite things: coffee, Ireland, and contra dancing. I lived in Ireland for 8 months and was a barista there”.
Favorite Memory on the Worldrace: One of my favorite memories is Easter Sunday. After church we got picked up by a local Malay guy and he took us all over Kuala Lumpur for the locals experience. It was the most unconventional Easter dinner I have ever had, but it was a day filled with laughter and fellowship that I won’t forget.

What are you most excited about for your new team? “ I’m excited to learn and grow alongside these women these next few months. I’m also excited for the community that we’ve already been creating and the adventures that are to be had”.
Baileigh Millender (Comic Relief)

Random fact about them: I want to start a bakery/hostel/convenient store. I love to bake. I want to use it to give back to my community.
Favorite Memory on the Worldrace: “When I was in Melaka, my team and I read the story of the crucifixion near a Buddhist temple. A women we met a few days earlier walked past us and we got to hangout with her and love on her. It was cool to see how God is in control when you are obedient to doing what he calls. We had been trying to meet up with this girl and she just walked right past us. We were trying to make plans and when we relied on our own plans nothing happened but when we were open and willing to be interruptible, God made things happen”.

What are you most excited about for your new team? ” Everything. Learning from you guys and becoming life long friends. And also being able to change clothes in the same room”.

Random fact about me: ” As a child I was obsessed with kittens. I carried them around with me everywhere. It was my goal to tame “wild” kittens and this would result in many kitten scratches all over my arms. One time I was on my swing holding my kitten and my dogs came running by and the kitten freaked out and attacked my face. On my eyebrow I have a scar from that experience”.
Favorite Memory on the worldrace: ” Probably meeting my friend Tony in Madagascar. She always had so much joy and we always ended up laughing together. Her life hasn’t been easy, so I’m proud of where she has come and who she has put her Hope in. She puts her hope in God and I could see how much she loved Jesus as we were doing Ministry together. A friend I will never forget”.

What are you most excited about for your new team? ” The opportunity to get to know them on a deeper level. Hearing their stories. Adventuring together, laughing together, and challenging each other spiritually to grow deeper in our relationship with Christ”.
