I’ve been a team leader for 2 months now. It’s been a stretching and learning experience. The girls on my team have really shown me what it means to love one another.
As a team leader I have a few responsibilities:
1. Getting ahold of our contacts every month and being in communication with them. Being the person to bring questions to them.
2. Praying and pushing our team forward and towards Christ.
3. Being the instigator for our teams feedback and family time we spend together.
4. Working through any problems we might have.
5. Being in contact with AIM so they know the celebrations and challenges we have as a team.
The way in which we have communication is via C&C’s (Celebrations and Challenges)
Sometimes it gets a little boring filling everything out, so team Shining Grace (thats my team by the way) decided to have a little bit of fun this week.
Disciples C&C’s
Team name: Jesus and friends.
Team Leader: Jesus
Red flags: Judas has been acting pretty sketchy lately.
How is the team doing at Hebrews 10:24-25? We have been doing a great job. The day is approaching so the guys have really stepped it up.
Feedback for squad leaders: I made you in my image, and I think your great!
Celebration: The guys are really learning to follow me.
Peter:
Challenge: There have been a few incidents that have been issues…denial and chopping people’s ears off, but he has great potential to rise above these issues.
Celebration: He’s really learning to step out in faith. He almost drown with walking on water, but progress is definitely seen.

Celebration: He has a servant’s heart and really looks out for the lost causes.
James (son of Zebedee):
Challenge: Has a very fiery temper.
Celebration: Very passionate about following God.
John (son of Zebedee):
Challenge: Has a very fiery temper like his brother, and is causing jealousy among the other disciples by calling himself ‘the one Jesus loves’.
Celebration: Always stays close to Jesus, even when he has to stay with the women.
James (son of Alphaeus):
Challenge: Is often too direct and hurts people’s feelings, needs to work on tact (book of James).
