Today my view of ministry has changed…kind of. This month, we’re doing Unsung Heroes ministry. For those who don’t know what that means, let’s see if I can do it justice. Basically, we’re spending the month finding new contacts, people that are already doing Kingdom work, that can potentially partner with AIM and host future racers or highlight their work to the people we know and give them recognition. Pretty awesome right? We get to help find the people that we would be excited to serve with.

So what does that look like? It looks like making cold calls based on internet searches and setting up meetings. It looks like going to a church for missionaries that we heard about from a missionary in Guatemala. And it looks like going on Facebook and talking to friends and church family. It is amazing how our social circles web out and touch other parts of the world. It makes me smile how the world becomes just a little bit smaller.

So what does tomorrow look like? Hopefully meeting with a few people we were able to contact. What does the rest of the month look like? Expanding our circle. Possibly traveling around El Salvador or maybe staying in San Salvador. Only God knows. And I. Cannot. Wait.

So what can you do? Pray. Pray that we’ll find the people we’re supposed to find. Pray that we’d be sensitive to where God is leading. Pray that we’ll grow stronger and more unified as a team. And if you know anybody in El Salvador that’s doing some Jesus work, shoot me an email! We are the first team to do Unsung Heroes ministry in El Salvador, so I’m excited to see what happens.

As always, thank you so much for your continued prayers, messages, and financial support. It’s so cool being partnered with you and getting to see the fruit of this time and what God is doing! I wouldn’t be here without you guys!
