It's a small story, nothing particularly amazing.

He was a little old man, skin turning white.  He took little shuffling steps.  I saw him first as I slipped to the side of the group after a crazy game with kids at the park.

The next item on our team agenda for the presensation at the park was a skit.  I have done this skit many, many times.  It's not my favorite and on top of that I'm not particularly fond of public presentations.

Nevertheless, standing in in my place on the stage, I asked God to use our skit.  "Use it for your purposes.  Work in the hearts of the people that need something."

The skit went much like it always did. (It's the Lifehouse "Everything" skit.  Look it up on youtube.  Suffice to say it shows God's rescue for someone from sins, including alcoholism.)  We finished and walked off the stage. I moved to stand beside the wall, to stay out of the way of the next activity.

Suddenly, the little old man was beside me.  He was visibly affected.  He started to talking to me very quickly and very passionately in Spanish.  I did not catch everything that he said, but from what I could gather he was an alcoholic.  Clearly, God spoke to him through our drama.  We continued to talk for a bit.

I asked him if I could pray for him.  I don't even remember what I said.  It was just the Holy Spirit.

My teammates watching could tell that God was doing something.  My friend, the Little Old Man, was crying.

Like I said, a small story, nothing big.  But, God worked in my heart that day and I know he is doing something with the Little Old Man.
