So, Honduras – short and sweet.
What has God taught me?
God is in the small things. I dream of doing big things, changing the world. Yet, I am tempered by reality and the understanding the God changes things – both big and small – through individuals and their consistent work. Every little gesture or activity can have a significant impact.
What is my prayer?
praying myself out of a job – God will raise up Hondurans, that God will raise strong Honduran men to raise families, no more North Americans needed in Honduras
Who will I remember?
Tony – An amazing example of love and commitment to the people God has placed in his life. He doesn’t shy away from hard conversations. He is honest about his ministry – both the good times and the bad.
Gracie – An inspiration. I only spent one day with her, but she taught me more than I could have imagined. God has given her a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. She uses it always for His glory.
Soccer game update – USA won (13-11)! Yes, we are that awesome!
Also, soccer on the sand in El Salvador at sunset is hard to beat!
