So I have these friends…  They are all between the age of three and sixteen and happen to live in a poor village outside of Kigali, Rwanda.  They are precious, kind, smiley, and eager children.

-PLEASE CONSIDER SPONSORING ONE OF THEM!-
All of the information is below!

This is my Primary 3 class that I am blessed to teach.  Five of the seven students still need sponsorships to be in school.

This is Habimana Amuza, or Amza for short.  He is 16 years old and is amongest all 9 and 10 year olds in his class.  He is bright and loves to smile and try really hard.   He was orphaned after both parents died.  A man has taken him in to feed and clothe, but he is not educated and has no money to pay for school, so he goes for free in hopes of being sponsored so the school can still operate. He frequently loans out his one extra pen to the students who forgot theirs.  So precious! Please consider sponsoring Amza.  He is dear to my heart.

This is Muton Kellen, but I call her Kellen.  She is 10 years old and   this smile is always on her face.  I adore this girl.  She is very ito being a student as her English skills exceed those of her classmates.  She loves to hold my hand!

This 9 year old boy is Mutsinzi Caleb.  Caleb is very far behind the other students in English, Math, Science and Social Studies.  I found out that he came from a terrible "school" that didn't really teach the students.  He needs sponsored in order to stay in school at Successful Christian School.

This is Muryo Derick.  He is a very bright 10 year old boy who is typically the first one finished with his assignments.  He loves to run and would be blessed to have a supporter.

This is Faraha Gentille.  I call her Faraha and couldn't think of a sweeter girl.  She is 10 years old and has a heart of gold.  I love to teach her as she always pays attention, but she is also very far behind in the school subjects and lacks funding to be in school.

Currently these 5 and 25 other children are all part of a ministry called Successful Christian School.  They go to school five days a week for between four and six hours a day, depending on their level.  There are four classes; preschool, Primary 1, primary 2, and primary 3.  The ministry has an awesome heart.  They offer children from families with NO MONEY an education without paying.  Currently, the school; including all teachers’ salaries, books, materials, building costs and supplies is being funded by the church’s tithes.  The church has, at most, twenty people.   Contrary to popular belief, Africa is expensive.  Sometimes possibly more expensive than the states, so having a school is not cheap.  No child has a proper backpack and each one is in need of paper and pens for homework.  They are also trying to add a Primary 4 class to continue their elementary education!

To sponsor a child for a year, it is $300 US dollars.  You can also sponsor per term at $100.  There are three terms in a year.  It is super easy to pay, and even easier if you let me know you want to sponsor before March 25th.  The facebook event is where you can see all the children is coming soon.

The ministry also has a facebook page set up by previous racers that you can visit at     http://www.facebook.com/SponsorALifeHelpRwanda?fref=ts.   If the link doesn't work, the page name is Successful Christian Ministries (SCM)!  A brief video of the vision can be found at http://youtu.be/rbXKZ-uxsK4.
