True Story:    I was sitting at a table playing cards with a few teammates.  It was a new game, Head and Foot, that I would love to teach and play with anyone because it’s a great game!  Anyways, for this week of debrief, we are allotted two pieces of bread with PBJ and 2 bananas to suffice for breakfast and lunch.
On this particular day, I was really excited about the banana I chose for the day because it was perfectly yellow, huge and not mushy at ALL!  All the sudden I felt something brush my arm.  I turned my head to see a STUPID MONKEY carrying my perfect banana up a tree and a few seconds later throwing the peel down to the ground.  I am not bitter, well, maybe slightly, but it was the perfect banana and I didn’t even get a bite!  haha

But Seriously:     So, I opened my tent door to the Nile River this morning…   I am in Uganda for a 6 day debrief of the last two months of ministry!

(Picture to come later…when it decides to load.)

After an awesome team time of surrendering our hearts, not just our heads, to God and having a night of worship in a field of African green grass…my mind is made up:
I am one of those Jesus freak Christians who is sold out on what Christ did
for me so many years ago!
I will worship God whole-heartedly…singing, dancing, clapping, lifting my
            hands, whatever!
I will love better than I can fathom!
I will have self-control and exercise it!
I will be a good friend!
I will pray continuously: at home, in the car, in a meeting…

I will NOT care if people think I’m crazy for celebrating God  in my life even
when I am not at church!
I will NOT be sad to “miss out” on things because I live with high morals!
I will NOT dishonor people with gossip/slandor!
I will live by faith and act upon it!

The Bible says in James 2:14-19 That faith takes action.  Verse 17 “In the same way, faith by itself, if not accompanied by action, is dead”.  Good things aren’t what saves me from Hell, but they demonstrate that my heart is all in for Jesus.

*Now sing…”I walk it out, I walk it out, I walk it out!!  haha
