Well, in the two team family currently working in the Aboriginal Community, 3 of us are somewhat disadvantaged….

A few days ago one girl discovered a strange rash that has continued to spread….  We asked the doctor on staff, Ayim,  (which is the surgeon in training that helps with the Bagot church) and he said to get it checked out.  After further internet searching, it appears that the "little rash" is strikingly similar to Scabies.  I'm riding along with poor Laura tonight to see what the tests have to say about the itchy rash…  Pray for the best!

Yesterday, one girl discovered a load of lice in her hair as a result of the many many children in the community living with it daily.  But not to worry, the hairdresser, Sheri Funk, is currently knocking that out with shampoo and a lice comb….

Today I was on my usual morning workout routine when Veronica and I decided  to do high knees, which is a completely typical call for us make.  Well, apparently I fail at life because I stepped down on my right foot, heard a loud POP, and that's all she wrote.  I now have a softball sized ankle, a memorable four hour Australia hospital visit, a $300.00 hospital bill, and a lovely sprained ankle.  It's perfect timing, considering the teams are planning to go Lynchfield park, in the bush, tomorrow to hike and climb around in waterfalls…..   i'm planning to be just great by 9:00 am tomorrow, that's 17hours from now…I'm good to go, right?  lol

I have actually come to the conclusion that I had begun to put exercising and morning workouts above being flexible with ministry.  I wasn't receptive to changes in plans because it would interupt my morning routine.  I think God works in mysterious ways to get us to listen and respond to what He has for us.  Maybe next time, I'll put ministry BEFORE my own agenda!

Enjoy your pest free, injury free day! Much Love!
