Asia is almost over. I cannot believe that month 5 is coming to a close and I will be heading to my next continent, Africa. I have truly loved my time in Asia. I never thought that I would have such a love for this part of the world but I really do. I definitely see myself coming back to Asia again in the future.
I was able to begin to truly find myself in Cambodia and feel at home in a place that is nothing like home. I was reminded how to love unconditionally in Thailand and was able to minister in my gifts. I also received a God given passion for the oppressed. I got to experience authentic and passionate worship in Indonesia. God has brought me a little bit closer to the woman he desires me to be during the past three months. I have grown closer to my teammates and allowed them to help sharpen me.
On June 1st I will be heading to Johannesburg, Africa and then on to Mozambique for the month of June. I am not exactly sure where I will be living or what type of ministry I will be doing. I don’t even know if I will have Internet or even a bathroom. I am excited about Africa, but I believe it is going to be a challenging three months for me. I really feel God has some big stuff planned for myself and my team and even the whole squad. Please be praying for safe travels and safety in general while we are in Africa. Also pray that we will experience God in new and powerful ways.
