I’m now two thirds of the way through with the race. The 100 day countdown has begun and time is racing by. The past eight months have flown by in a dizzying mix of experiences and emotions. I look back at the places we’ve been, the things we’ve seen, and the way God has worked in all of it, and I can’t believe that everything has taken place in just over half a year. The Lord is truly moving in my life and in the lives of my squadmates.
We’ve now come to the point in the race when we struggle to keep our thoughts in the present instead of jumping ahead to life after the race. There are so many different ideas and plans and it’s so exciting to see each of us come alive and passionate for God’s plan, but He’s not finished with us yet. I’ve tried to maintain a healthy balance of living in the present and preparing myself for the future.
One of the areas that remains part of my present and future is finances. I’m happy to announce that I am almost done with fund raising, however, I am still short just over 1000 dollars. Please prayerfully consider supporting me. Knowing that the final bit of money is raised will take a huge weight off my shoulders as I finish the last few months of the race.
Not only would support be appreciated but also prayers. I have numerous ideas for after the race, each one exciting in its own right, but my main desire is to follow God’s will for my life. Please pray for an open ear to hear His will and wisdom to follow His guidance as I start to make some important decisions.
