We had just started our ministry with our second church in Ocotal when Josh informed me that our squad leader, Stephanie, was coming to visit. He then added that after her visit with us she would be heading back to Guatemala to visit some of the other teams before we all met up in Mexico City on the 3rd of September. Oh, and she needed a travel partner. Knowing that it’s wiser to travel in pairs, Stephanie had been praying for a travel partner to join her the rest of the month. My name kept coming to mind. I was immediately excited about the idea and after some prayer and team discussion, I accepted the offer.
I spent the weekend ministering along side my team in Ocotal and then due to bus routes, I bused to Managua to meet Steph instead of her coming up to visit us. Now, after three days of traveling by bus and a taxi ride sandwiched between an American, a Belgian, and with a German on my lap (blog to come), we are back in Antigua for a few nights visiting the G:racers. We’ll be leaving on Friday heading out to Lake Atilan and team Bold for the remainder of the month. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue traveling throughout Guatemala and then on into Mexico.
