This is probably the first of many ‘mini blogs’ where nothing of major insight or importance will be said, instead it’ll be a little update on my whereabouts and what’s going on…..
We joined up as a team yesterday in Miami. By now most of us have been in an airport or on a plane for almost 24 hours and the journey is only half over. Last night was spent in the airport trying to get some much needed sleep (picture below). Yet, despite our lack of sleep and many hours of travel ahead of us, we’re all surprisingly still in good spirits.
We’re currently in Mexico city getting ready to board our flight to
Cancun which will be followed by a 12 hour bus ride to Palenque (our
first ministry site). When we get to Palenque we’ll have approximately two weeks of training, but we don’t really know what that looks like or what follows that. So keep checking here for updates.

And I’ll leave you with a praise…. When i left I had , including cash in my account and monthly pledges, $13, 300. Praise God! What an awesome provider.
