Squad leading.

Where do I even start?

I’ve been at this right around 2 weeks, and already I’ve been taken all over the place both physically and spiritually.

It’s just a whirlwind. Even saying that it has only been 2 weeks makes me confused, because it feels like months.

This isn’t because I’m dying out here, or because it’s particularly breaking. It’s just a lot. The duties and the thinking and the moving around are just a lot to deal with.

I enjoy it, though. I really do. I love getting to talk and live with my squad. I enjoy picking up and moving about. Living my life 10-11 days at a time. It’s new and strange, but I like it.

I’ve already grown. Already changed. I can feel that in the way I move and think.

I’ve gone from unsure and timid at times, to confident and always looking for an opportunity to speak. To give what I have to others. Not to make friends, though that is nice, but to really lead.

It’s nuts.

And my co-leaders? Awesome. I wasn’t entirely sure walking into this what it would look like to lead with these 2 women. But now that we’re out here, I couldn’t have been more lucky. We’re in sync. We’re strong. We pick on each other almost constantly. They’re like sisters I never had.

I guess I’m taking all of that to say… It’s going well.

I love A squad. I love what I’m getting to do. I love that it’s hard, and challenging. I just love it.

Normally my blogs have some kind of wisdom or depth to them. But I think this is all I really have to say right now. I’m figuring it all out, but it’s a new frontier for me. One that will yield a lot of new things, I’m just not sure what they all are yet.

But I’ll find out.

Wanna help me stay out here and find out all those things? You can! Please prayerfully consider supporting my trip. It still need around $5,000 to be fully funded for squad leading.
