Ok, if you are highly uneducated about Africa (like myself!) you may have felt the same emotions I did when you saw that we are now going to be in Africa during May, June, and July. The first thing that went through my head—I’m gonna bake! Literally bake in the sun during the hottest months of our trip!

After an enjoyable conversation with Amy Learn I discovered that it won’t be the 3 hottest months of my life!! So, I did a little research and discovered that Africa’s winter is during those three months!

May (when we are in Uganda) we could possibly be there during their rainy season. It just depends on where we are specifically. We’ll either just miss it…or be there for it!
June is Tanzania. June is actually one of the coldest months of the year in Tanzania. Their winters are dry and cold and in a few places the weather can drop below freezing.
July is Kenya. We will be there during their coldest month of the year and will just miss their rainy season.
So, I think I will work on some posts with updated weather info for all our countries. I remember a previous blog done at one point but cannot seem to find that post! grrrr…so be on the look out…I’m at work and I’m bored! lol
Blessings,
Michelle
