So this is my first blog ever and I can tell you, I truly had no clue what to say. . . That was until this morning. And to be completely honest, I've been a little discourage about support raising. It really sank in and shocked me today, causing to wake up extremely early to the point where I was unable to go back to sleep. Well, with me unable to go back to sleep, I thought I would start my day early and get a jump start in the word. Before I jumped in to reading my bible I asked God to give me an encouraging word to just help me through the day and be able to share with others. Well the word that He put before me was 2 Corinthians 4:7-9, 13-14. Which reads:
7. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. 8. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9. persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed- 13. And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believe and therefore I spoke" we also believe and therefore speak. 14. knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you.
So with a spirit of faith, I'm going to say that no one should be conquered by the fear. I say we stand our ground and claim what is ours. Cast away any and every negative thought, and fill it with nothing but the word and positive thinking. With that being said I want to challenge the ones like myself and even those who aren't struggling with support raising that we go on a fast. And what I mean by that is we fast from negative words and thoughts. Just let me know what you all think.
