Hey everyone,
Me and the team Just arrived in Da Nang Vietnam today. It was a heck of a few days of travel per usual. Our lest leg was a 24 hour bus ride from Ho Chi Minh City in the south of Vietnam strait up the coast to Da Nang in central Vietnam. Da Nang is a beautiful beach City and I am beyond excited to explore and discover all the adventures it has to offer.
Some of you may already know but Vietnam is a closed country. This means I could be kicked out from being a m1ss1onary. Please refrain from posting or committing on anything related to me, using Chr1st1an words. That is also why you need a password to get on my blog this month and why I wont be posting anything like that either.
Something else exciting and challenging about this month is that my team is doing Unsung Heroes. This means instead of being paired with a m1n1stry we are looking for new m1n1stry to partner with Adventures so that teams can come here in the future. Again this being a closed country makes that job even harder because we can’t even talk in public about our beliefs.
One thing we started a few days ago was using code words for common words that we say that we cant anymore because of the country being closed. For example Je$u$/G0d= Dad, Work= M1n1stry and my favorite is Phoning Home= Prayer. This month we will really be focusing on Phoning Home because Unsung Heroes is all about Dad leading us where he wants us to go to meet up with the people he wants us to meet. We need to be perfectly in tune with Him so that we don’t miss out on anything He is telling us.
I know all of you have been keeping Me and Team Boundless in your Phones Home and we are so thankful for that. This month I want to encourage you to step it up a notch just like we are with Phoning Home. Specifically that we hear directly From Dad and that we will stay Unified and encouraged even though we might not be seeing the fruits of our labor.
