AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
How frustrating is this? I am trying to be inspired and motivated by watching “Biggest Loser”, inspired to put less in my mouth (just like I am trying to keep more from leaving my mouth…I guess I have trouble keeping the junk food and beer from going in and the opinions and stupid comments from leaving it…discipline is the word I am focusing on) and inspired to get back to training.
BUT!!! We get interrupted by updates on the New Hampshire Primary…and I don’t want to share my ignorant political views, but I must say “anyone but Romney, please”, as far as the Republicans go. On the Democratic side, I don’t really like any of them…is it just a rumor that Obama has radical Islamic ties? And Hillary, I just can’t vote a Clinton back into office (sorry Rusty), mostly because if she put in 8 years in the Oval Office, that would be 30 years for the Bush/Clinton dynasty…and yeah, I do think they are ‘in cahoots’.
Actually I like McCain, right now he gets my vote (he is currently giving his victory speech), but having lived in Massachusetts I can’t buy into Romney. The bigger thing is, having read Krakauer’s “Under the Banner of Heaven” I can’t vote for a Mormon.
Now, I know Romney says it is all the same…all religions are the same, right? NO! And I have more trouble trusting the intelligence of someone who follows a religion blindly, any religion, and even more trouble trusting someone who doesn’t know the difference. ‘Nuff said.
Speaking of religous stuff, since I believe Jesus is God’s son, does that mean I should vote for Huckabee? I actually don’t know much about him so I need to do more research on him. My gut feeling is that I would still rather vote for someone who believes in and acknowledges the Almighty than anyone who is ‘smoother’ or preaching ‘hope’ or whatever all these other platforms are. (I am still not sure where I stand on Bush)
