Hello everyone!

Just an update on where I am this summer and what's
going on in my life now to prepare me for the World Race.

This summer, i'm on the Leadership Team at Bluestone Camp and Retreat in Hinton WV.
Bluestone is a church camp where I was the lifeguard 2 summers ago, and a place that helped
get me through a trying time in my life. Due to an internship last summer I was unable to return,
but I am very excited to be back this summer.

My job this year is an Adventure Leader!  This means I get to take kids out of camp and do the
more difficult hikes, canoe trips, and sleep out adventures.  Also, the adventure kids are the 11th
and 12th graders and get a chance to have one fun filled day at ACE, and outdoor fun zone in Fayettville WV! Spencer Asycue is my guy co-adventure leader and we are both so excited to see what the summer holds for us!

{ our best side, hehe }

I also see Bluestone as an escape for me this summer where I can collect myself in an outdoor environment and prepare for the World Race.  Not that Bluestone is half as intense as the Race will be, but it is outdoorsy and puts me in a great position to practice sharing my faith, being in a mature position, and helping others!  Sharing my personal testimony has never been difficult for me, i'm a pretty open book.  But trying to explain my faith to others is something that I have struggled with through the years and I feel Bluestone is a great place for me to get some experience in that area this summer and have my confidence up when I leave.

Ill be here at Bluestone until July 7th!  I am very excited to see how Christ is going to work through me this summer to touch kids and my fellow staff's lives, and also to see how I grow in my faith 🙂  There can never be enough of that in life!

Another goal for this summer is to be in my Bible more! If anyone has any good verses or books of the Bible for me to be studying, I would love some input! 🙂

I appreciate all of you!
thanks for checking in!

In Christ,
Schuylar
