My name is Schuylar Whytney Reggi. I am a 22 year old student at Marshall University in WV. Currently I am gaining my BA in Advertising with a minor in Marketing and am expected to graduate in December 2013. Until then, I reside in Huntington, WV and am a server at a local burger chain called Fat Patty's. For the summer of 2013 I'll be working at Bluestone, a church camp in Hinton WV, as an adventure guide.
In the years leading up to my present I lived and attended school in both Beckley and Hurricane, WV while spending a good amount of time in Princeton, WV as well. These places have all played a part in the woman I have become today. I see myself as blessed to have family and friends spread out so that I do not solely depend on one place in the world to call home.
I have been attending church and related activities since I was a baby. I literally grew up a driveway distance away from my first church. I was raised Baptist, but I don't strictly claim a denomination, I claim Christ. Youth group at First Baptist Church of Hurricane and Camp Cowen are where I first began to understand what being a follower of Christ really meant and where I accepted Christ into my life. I did not honestly begin my relationship with Christ though until my freshman year at Marshall. This is when I began to understand that Christianity isn't just about what you do right and what you do wrong. BCM, Baptist Christian Ministries, has played a large part in my college experience and in shaping my relationship with Christ into what it is today.
Like any woman my age I have become who I am today thanks to people in my life and experiences along the way. I'm what's known as a type A personality. I'm not afraid to speak my mind or tell people the truth. Most people call me brutally honest, which has proven to be both a positive and negative feature. I also consider myself to be determined and believe I thrive most when I know people are depending on me. I like being around people and my main interest include: traveling, music & concerts, outdoor adventures, singing, photography and kids!
