Fundraising is intimidating. I’ve never done it before, but I’m blessed with a church family who knows the ins and outs of fundraising and are more than willing to help me and support me. I haven’t started anything yet, but I need to start soon! I thought I’d just throw up these deadlines here so y’all know what I’m working with.

$3,500 due two weeks before training camp (Oct.)

$7,500 due two weeks before launch (Dec. 18th)

$11,000 due end of first 3 months in field (April 1st)

$16,242.60 due end of first 6 months in field (July 1st)

My ideal goal? To be fully funded by launch. Yeah…I know…that’s a little ambitious of me, but that’s my goal.

I’ll be giving a presentation in front of my church this Sunday (excite!) and I’m going to get a t-shirt designed ASAP to start selling. Can’t wait to get into the nitty gritty of all this.

What can YOU do to help?

Pray! I need prayer warriors. A prayer team that can commit to praying for the fundraising process on a regular basis.

Donate! Please prayerfully consider financially being a part of sending me. You can do one-time gifts or monthly gifts, whatever suits you! Just click on the “Support Me!” link at the top of the blog!

Adventures In Missions, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a long-time member of ECFA. Your donations are tax deductible based on the policies and principles at www.adventures.org/policies.

Spread the Word! Share this with your family and friends! The more people who know, the more opportunities to pray and give.

I have calculated that if 100 people commit to $25/month until December, I will be fully funded by launch!

The total amount needed to be fully funded is $16,242.60.

What this covers: All international flights, all in-country transportation, all meals, lodging, training, administrative fees, and debriefs.

What this does not cover: Vaccinations, personal spending money, equipment, travel to/from training camp, and travel to the launch point as well as travel home from the return point at the end of the race

There will be a blog in the near future on the equipment I’ll need, so keep an eye out!

Love! <3
