I’m back!!! Yes its true I survived the 11 month crazy adventure where God
asked my to leave everything and follow Him around the world. I can’t even begin
to tell you how amazing this past year has been. My world got totally rocked, turned
upside down and spun in a whirlwind but brought back together so gracefully. I’ve
gotten to see and feel things that I would love to experience again, and others that
I never want to go back to. I’ve tasted my fair share of random food and gotten to
love on so so many wonderful people that the Lord put into my life.

It’s crazy how quickly transition comes, how fast life moves, how fast these
11 months flew by. After Africa I found myself getting so caught up in what was
coming next. I became so comfortable in this new traveling the world lifestyle and
fear starting to take over my world. I didn’t want this adventure, this place where I
finally felt like I fit in, to end. I was afraid that I didn’t have a plan for what was next
because this race is the biggest thing I’ve ever done in my life. How am I supposed to top it? How can I possible do something better then this next? I was operating out
a place of being consumed with the future and was forgetting that my race wasn’t
over yet. I was forgetting to keep my heart where my feet where. I was selfish and
needy, pushing those around me aside rather than embracing them. Soon I put two
and two together and started working towards loving in the present better. I didn’t
blog the last four months as a result of this. I wanted to really refocus and embrace
the last leg of this journey rather then continue to be consumed by the future. I’m so
sorry that you, my supporters, were neglected in this process. I truly am grateful for
your support and prayers this past year and wanted to share a thank you from each
month. As well as tell you how your support directly affected my race and my new
