As I’ve shared with you through my blogs of this past year around the world, the Lord has radically awakened me to this beautiful reality of living in the Kingdom and my identity as a beloved daughter of the King. Little did know, we were just getting started. The race may be over, but the journey continues. So I would like to share with you this exciting next step God has laid before me and how you can be a part of this new season of holy transformation.
Last week I made my first big girl decision! With only $100 in my pocket I hopped on a greyhound with one suitcase and decided to move to Gainesville, GA. That’s right folks, this city girl has moved to the south!
This next year I will be partaking in a new program called Center for Global Action (CGA). CGA is a leadership school allowing time of preparation to focus and equip me with skills to further pursue my dream. Half of my time will be in class focusing on 4 main areas; community, kingdom, discipleship, and finding your call. The other half of my time will be putting what I’m learning into action while working with Adventures in Missions as a non-profit, getting me the experience I need for the future.
The last month of the race the Lord gave me a vision multiple times. The vision was of a house with a constant open door. The house was full of people partaking in different things. The top floor was a dance studio/prayer room, where people where worshiping. It was raw, undignified worship that seemed so real at the time. The bottom level was full of different art cubbies. People were coming in and out creating beautiful pieces from different mediums. These people came together as a family of misfits and let the art/dance/worship/prayer be the bridge between them with their current situation and the Lord. His overflowing love was abundant in this house and when I woke up I knew I had to be part of that or create that place someday. He had given me a small glimpse of my dream and NOW has given me CGA as a tool to pursue it.
Center for Global Action is going to prepare me and push me towards this dream over the next year and I would love for you to be a part of it. This year I will be living off $7200 for the entire year. SO for as little as $1 a day or $30 a month you can support me for the whole year. If you are willing to make coffee at home once a week and donate that $7 rather than buying it in the cup with the fancy mermaid lady you could support me and push me toward making my dream a reality.
I need $1000 in two weeks in order to start the program. SOOOO I’m setting up $30 on the 30th!! Join together with two friends each giving $10 to make the $30 donation on the 30th so I can meet my first goal and get started! That’s right you have two days to get $30 together and help me!
