African Church is not the typical church service. You dont stand and maybe sing a little, but not too loud because your tone deaf and trying to listen to the person who thinks they are a rockstar three rows back. Here it is a party, a celebration week after week. These people love to dance and sing and clap and jump. the worship band at IGC is my new favorite thing. They invited us to thier practices this week. When We went we learned some of their dances and will be dancing with them at Sundays services on stage!! Ahh SO great. We are slowly trying to pick up on thier songs in local language but really we just make up the words as we go. We practice them around the house and mama Jen just laughs at us and tells us we sound good! God love her. This group of people are the real deal and they just got thier first set of wireless microphones. Mzungus dancing and wireless mics, things are about to get crazy this Sunday!
