It’s my Birthday!!! Which also means it’s my little brother’s birthday too.  Shout out Pookie, Happy 20th Birthday. You already know this but I can’t help but tell you again. You are my favorite person ever and I love you so so much. Being apart this year is one of the hardest things i've ever done. I miss our dance parties, sleep overs and your awkward mustache. Hope you’re having a great birthday; eat an extra pumpkin pie for me and enjoy our last picture here with Ruby Coug, she was so god to us! Sending you a big hug from Nepal, feel it!
Love and miss you!-Bana

This is our first birthday apart and is really strange however my team made it so special.  They woke me up with a giant birthday hat, a bin of butter cookies and a homemade PUMPKIN PIE (my favorite food). I’m talking carved a pumpkin, made homemade crust and whip cream. Then sense we don’t have an oven they did this amazing double boil thing to cook it and it was so delicious.  We then went and shopped until we dropped downtown and found a pizza hut for lunch.  My old team met up with us for dinner. We ate, listened to live music and danced with the band all night. It was so perfect.  The next morning we took a flight to Mt. Everest, which was so beautiful.

Back at home I found out that my bestest friend Kate(you’re the best and it was a great surprise) and my wonderful Mother (I’m constantly amazed by how much and how well you love me) have been praying endlessly and working so hard to get me fully funded.  Thank you everyone who has donated and been praying for me out on the field.  I’ve been so blessed this year. I'm learning so much and meeting beautiful people around the world. My support account needs around $800 by the end of the year in order to be fully funded and stay for the whole year.  Again thank you thank you thank you so much for all your love, support and birthday wishes.  It was a wonderful day.  Miss you all LYLAS
