I am trying to soak up as much time as possible with my family and friends, knowing that this adventure is right around the corner and I am bound to get home sick at some point.. At the same time I am so anxious to just get this thing going. Getting all of the fundraising started and having the funds to actually go has had me a bit scared. I have really been concentrating on trusting the Lord with this, knowing that He will provide the way for those He has called. Our group has been sending each other encouraging words for support raising and I couldn’t be more thankful. This group of people has already helped me in realizing that God isn’t looking for any sort of qualification rather he is looking for willingness, and oh shoot we have the willingness but we need your help to get us there.
So here is where I come and share with you the scary and real facts that are my support deadlines, AHHHH!!! The whole trip will cost $15,500. I know it’s a huge-mon-gious number that could like pay for a car, some more school or a ton of awesome concerts, but none of those things are going to help me share the gospel. Instead this money will pay for my training camp, my airfare and other travel, food and lodging for the entire year. This money will send me to go love on people and give sooo many hugs!!

To help raise funds I am holding a Spaghetti Dinner April 10that the JEM in Liberty, MO from 11-4. Tickets at the door, adults $10, kids $5 (10&under). As well as hosting a Golf Tournament June 4that Hidden Valley Golf Course in Lawson, MO. Four man scramble, shotgun start at 8am, lunch and two drink tickets included for $80.
