I have been state side for just under one month and everything has changed!!

EVERYTHING!!!

This is what was supposed to happen…

…I was going to come home and hang out with my family and friends for a little over a month and then I was going to move to Georgia to be apart of a program called CGA. After that I wanted to squad lead, lead a group of people around the world on the adventure that I just finished. I was very excited about this plan, and I just knew that it was exactly where God was taking me next.

And then I got home…

Being home was pretty hard at first but the longer I am here the more I want to stay and the less I want to move to Georgia; which is rather fitting for what I am about to tell you!

I’m not moving to Georgia!!!

I have spent some time recently looking at what the Bible says about debt, because I have student loans that just keep growing and growing(interest is the worst). In my studies I found nothing new, but my convictions changed…a lot! So now I am going to prioritize paying those off. That way, when God communicates to me that it is time for something big; I will be so ready and totally debt free!

So here is my plan, that I am holding onto very loosely.

I’m going to get a job, here in the greatest state that ever was (Texas) and work really hard over the next year or so. With the money that I will be rolling in I am going to begin making payments on my loans and saving up money to move to South Korea!! You see, I have had this dream to teach English in South Korea for about 7 years now and it turns out that that is one heck of a way to make money…which means I can pay off my loans even faster!! Wahoo!!

So there it is folks, my one year plan! Now let’s see if it works out, or if that changes too. Regardless I am going to use this year to spend time with the people that I love, meet new people to love, laugh as much as my stomach can stand, fall in love with Jesus in a whole new way, go on adventures…lot’s and lot’s of adventures, and I’m gonna love every second of it!

Please pray for me because….

             …..I need a job and a car!
