……that I absolutely am in love with Bulgaria!!!
It's crazy to me; when I signed up for this route Bulgaria was not on the list, India was in it's place. I was so excited for India and I didn't even really know that Bulgaria was a country…I mean who knows these things, right?!?!
We have been in this country for a little over a week and I feel like so many things have happened:
- Team Changes
- Jake was healed
- Boom Burger in Sofia blew my mind
- We traveled to Stambolovo on a train
- We have cleaned out an entire barn
- I got to play with some really cute kids with special needs
- We have our own car
- I get to go grocery shopping…a lot!
- We have wifi connection at our house, which means facebook in bed!
- Hot Showers
- Real toilets
- Our contacts are uber awesome
- I'm making new friends
- I got to call home, on a real phone…twice
- I get to cook in a real kitchen
- We have family dinners, every night, around a table!
This is just a quick list of all of the exciting things that are going down in Stambolovo and I am positive that this list will continue to grow and grow over the next two weeks with things like; I get to talk to a man with the same children's home vision as mine, on Sunday morning we get to lead children's church, next week I get to witness a really exciting baptism, and on and on and on…
So even though I wasn't supposed to be here in Bulgaria and things at home are not exactly how I wish that they were, I love it here! I am content and I am getting to do work that will bring about change in Bulgaria. I may not be here for that change, but it is going to happen, and I can't wait to hear all about it!!
Fundraising has been going great!! but I am still in need of $3,150.00 by the end of June. I would love it if you would fight for me by praying for the funds to come in, but if God is leading you to donate please click the support me link on the left hand side of the screen and follow the directions given. Thank you so much for your time and support!!!
