When I moved back home in May I really didn't expect much. I just wanted to make one or two good friends, find a church that I could serve in, and a job that would allow me to pay for the race. But instead I have made more friends than I can count on both hands, and not just friends for now either. I believe that many of them will be in my life for a very long time! I joined a church that very quickly became my home. I don't just get to serve there, I get to be apart of life changing ministries, I am led by pastors that love Jesus so much that He pertrudes from their pores! But not in that cheesy super Christian way, but the real, He changed my life and I don't ever want to go back kind of way. And I had four jobs, with excellent bosses!! And not only did I make good money, but I liked going to work in the morning!
And now the goodbyes have to start because assuming that God is going to give me $1,200.00 in the next two weeks I am leaving in 21 days. And while I am so excited for the World Race, I'm so sad to say goodbye to the people that have swept through my life like a whirlwind and turned it completely upside down, for the best of course!
God is so good.
