Dear Nineteen Year Old Me:
Look at you! Just starting college, living life on your own! You think you have it all together, but you do not.
Everything is so new: leaving home for the first time, making new friends, and making choices about your career.
You have decided that you want to become a teacher because you love learning and kids. (Little do you know that God has different plans.)Â
In the next four years you will:
Experience God in a whole new way.
Continue to fall in love with volunteering at The Children’s Hospital
Experience your first heartbreak.
Experience loss of one of the greatest people in your life.
Nineteen year old me…. I’m so glad I’ve changed.
Dear Twenty-Three Year Old Me:
God is big! He knows exactly what you need when you need it- in His perfect timing.
You’ve graduated college with the desire to work at the hospital you’ve volunteered at for so long. (Far shot from wanting to be a teacher, huh?)
Remember that relationship you were in? The one that was so hard to leave? It has turned out to be one of the best decisions you’ve made. Keep looking up, things will only get better in the guy department.
Remember when you wanted to go to Africa and the organization said you were too old? God is not only allowing you to go to Africa, but to other places as well.
You are at such a good place in life, being obedient to God, pursuing Him.
God is going to use you in amazing ways.
You are going on The World Race (something you did not see coming.)
I am excited to see how much changes in you this year!
