Like a little kid who counts down the days until Christmas or their birthday, I have been counting down the days till I get to meet the crazy awesome people I will be doing life with for nine months. I can not tell you how excited I am to finally meet the people I have been getting to know and building relationships with over the past few months.

Training camp is in ONE month! ONE month people! It’s crazy to think that I leave for training camp in just a month. This whole trip is starting to become so much more real as I book my flight for training camp in Georgia, buy all my gear, try to pack my life for nine months into a single backpack, and begin to prepare for the beginning of this journey. What in the world did I get myself into! But how do I prepare for something this big? This monumental? This life changing? How do I even begin to prepare for something when I have no idea what to expect? Well I don’t think I will ever truly be prepared for what lies ahead of me. And I have figured out that that’s okay! All I can do is let God prepare my heart and mind for what I will experience and what I will learn along the way.

So I don’t know much about training camp because they want us to go into it having no expectations and to be completely open to what God wants to show us. But here is a little tidbit of what I do know.

Training Camp is an intense 10-day training experience where my teammates and I will meet in Georgia to connect deeply with the Lord and each other. Through teaching, prayer, scenarios, and relationship building, we will step out of fear and shame and into intimacy with the Father. We will also receive training on how to partner with God to establish His Kingdom on Earth.

So as I try to prepare for something I know little about I am trusting in God and praying that I will be open to however He is going to grow me through this intense 10-day training experience.

I am still in need of around $800 that I have to have by July 22nd or else I may not be able to go on this journey God is calling me on. But I know God is calling me on this journey so he will provide everything I need. If you are wanting to donate click the orange “Donate” button at the top of the page. Its super easy to do and will only take a few minutes of your time.

Fun fact: If everyone that reads my blog would donate just $20 I would be fully funded!

Thank you so much for your love and support
